Sundays After Pentecost
Sermon August 18, 2019: "One way to love more
is to understand and learn how much you are
loved by God in Jesus.
It could be said that one way to know more about
God is to know about love. (See Romans 1:21,
Romans 1:25)
We want to know the truth about God. . .
so we need to know more about love.
There is quite a bit of confusion about love.
Some have trouble receiving love and God's love.
We begin talking about human love.
Then we can talk about God's love.
Then we can talk about Christian love.
It will take more than one sermon.
Always helpful: Dr. Gary Chapman's

It took him months of therapy to understand
God's love!

Additional qualities:
Trust. Honesty. Respect. Communication.
Loyalty. Happiness (more or less but a better
Bible word is enjoyment). Compromise. Safety.
Keep 1 Corinthians 13 in mind. . .
And of three great qualities:
FAITH, and HOPE and love, the Apostle states. . .
The greatest of these IS LOVE.
“You are loved and cherished dearly forever.”
Amen
