Easter
The word “Easter” comes from other languages. It became associated with Resurrection Day.
Jesus was raised from the dead—resurrected. Jesus was not resuscitated. The Bible has several ways to talk about the meaning of the resurrection. There is new life. God loves you. Yes, God loves you THAT much. Jesus’ death and resurrection have removed our barriers to God.
God wants to remove your sin. How well do you know God? God wants us to know God BETTER! God really wants to have a relationship with us—each of us. God sent Jesus to prove how much God wants to have a relationship with us. Jesus declared it. Jesus took on a human form. God forgave our sin because of Jesus’ sacrifice—sacrificial gift of his life.
