John 10:7-15
Life is a gift from God.
When life is good, there is a tendency to
forget God. (Deuteronomy 8)
When life is bad we tend to blame God and
think that God doesn’t like us.
Even faithful people will go in either of those
directions. Pastor could ask you.
Is certainly okay to ask questions of God.
It gives us insight into the Book of Job.
Jesus declared: I have come to bring you life
and bring it in its fullness.

Do we know what Jesus means?
Then life can get tough or rough.

What’s the secret of survival?
FAITH IN GOD.
Notice that Jesus says plainly that Jesus isn’t
satisfied with just giving us life.
Jesus wants us to have life in abundance
—super abundance. . .
(See Ephesians 3:20)
Is not Pastor’s own life proof?
Has not DCC also received super abundance?
Ed Stetzer, church consultant: We know there are
some things that can only come from God,
not from Walmart.
And although there will be trouble in a believer’s life
(Matthew 5:45, Matthew 7:25, Luke 6:48),
God gives peace that passes all understanding.
(Philippians 4:7)
Survival and THRIVAL!
See (Philippians 3:14, Galatians 5:22-23
and James 1:17).
Every good and perfect gift is from above. . .
Amen.
