And the path from that dim past to this morning
is a path spattered with blood.

Jesus words: Matthew 24:35
All things will pass away but NOT
Jesus’ words to Martha and Mary,
Luke 10:38-42, Luke 10:41-42.
What about you?
What will you cling to?
What would you cling to if you were
disappointed or disrespected or if you
were discriminated against—for any reason,
but especially because of your faith?
Elders: Titus 1:6 but also 1 Timothy 5:17
which as in Seminary classes we were reminded
that it has to be said because it was NOT
happening.
[Elders were to have double honor because
they weren’t getting any!]
Remember: the Pastor goes to jail.
So many things that God’s Word speaks of
are for your endurance. . .ENDURANCE
in faith, men and women.
Sermon on the Mount: Matthew 5:11-12
“DON’T BE AFRAID”
(over 80 times in the Bible)
The word endure is in the Bible
over 100 times. . .18 in the NT:
See John 6:27.
Amen
