A Light in Any Darkness (1 John 5:10-13)
Gary McManus, 03/30/2014Part of the Why Hell? series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Jesus talked about Hell
Jesus talked about Hell more than anyone in the New Testament.
The word "perish" is in the New Testament more than thirty times. Jesus did not want people to perish.
Last time we looked at an example of a man
who apparently was not following Jesus.
When anyone leaves the presence of the Heavenly
Father, things do NOT go well with them.
People RARELY “get away” with crime.
Today we look at a victim of crimes during
World War 2, Corrie ten Boom and we look
at those who participated in those crimes against
the ten Boom family.
There are several books by Corrie ten Boom
and all are good. These quotes are from
Jesus is Victor.
People running from God . . .need God!
Jesus’ own story about the Father with two sons
says the same thing so well.
Whether you are running far away or staying near
the house. Whether you commit evil or you are the
victim of evil. Healing is available in and through
Jesus Christ. See Mark 2: 16-17
