Other possible translations and interpretations:
“to give you life and give it abundantly. . .”
. . .more abundantly, in abundance,
in all its fullness, the fullest possible way
even. . .“plenteously” (!)
Life needs to be seen as a gift as God intended.
(Genesis 1. . .and we are all unique
and uniquely valuable:
Matthew 6:26, Matthew 10:29-30, Luke 12:24)
God wants life and salvation for all.
(1 Timothy 2:4-6 )
The Lord is the giver of every gift.
(James 1:17)
Jesus said that we are of much more value
than the birds. (Matthew 6:26, Matthew 10:29-30,
Luke 12:24)
Life is the Lord’s—all life and our life.
The Lord has made everything. (Psalm 24:1)
Those who call Jesus Lord
will live WITH the Lord forever. (John 14:1-4)
The new life Jesus came to bring the
Lord desires goes on forever.
